Anyone else tired of the "halal" crypto hunt?
Hey guys, quick question. I’ve been trying to find a way to get into crypto more seriously, but the deeper I go, the more I worry about whether what I’m doing is actually Sharia-compliant. Most projects out there are just pure speculation or involve some weird interest-based mechanics (riba) that I’m not comfortable with.
Does anyone here actually use a platform or a specific coin that feels "right" from an ethical/faith perspective? I’m looking for something that isn't just a hype train but actually cares about the community and maybe something like Zakat or charity integration. Or am I overthinking this and should just stick to traditional banking? lol. Any thoughts?

Honestly, I feel you. I spent months reading whitepapers and honestly, most of them just gave me a headache... it’s all "moon this" and "lambos that," which gets old pretty fast.
I had those same doubts until I stumbled upon the mecca coin team a while back. What I liked isn't even the tech side (though I think they're on Solana so it's fast enough), but just the vibe of the project. It’s one of the few places where you can actually relax and enjoy the process without constantly checking if you're breaking some ethical rule. They’ve got this focus on charity and even some VR stuff for Hajj prep which is actually kinda cool if you think about it.
I’m still learning the ropes myself and I'm definitely not an expert, but it’s been a way more "chill" experience than the usual stressful crypto groups. Might be worth looking into if you want something that aligns better with the Ummah. Just my two cents anyway!
